Nicu's Spoon is proud to announce the 16th year of this production in Hawaii. Feb 22 and 23 at 7 PM are the show dates at The East Hawaii Cultural Center. We will be helping to produce 'The Vagina Monologues' on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Metaphysics, as the branch of philosophy that deals with the concept of Being, the objective of this exhibition was to present artists who are in a dynamic process of exploration.

Sunday, January 13th at 4pm! Alden Young, senior at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, is home for a concert. He'll perform Prokofiev Sonata No. 3 and Grieg Wedding Day at Troldhaugen on piano. Pianist Kanako Okita joins Alden for his violin selections: Prokofiev Sonata No. 2 and Lalo Symphonie Espagnole. It's a free concert, sponsored by Orchid Isle Orchestra and EHCC. Donations are welcome. We hope to see you at EHCC!

Live Aloha Festival

The Live Aloha Festival will bring art, joy, celebration, and social justice to the community of Hilo from January 11-12, 2019. 

Featuring music, theatre, film, puppets, visual art, and conversations about the artist’s role in society, the Live Aloha Festival will be produced by East Hawai’i Cultural Center (EHCC) and artist collective The New Alchemists: a performance-based artist collective architecting creative experiences for communities.
