The June exhibit at HMOCA will be selected photographs by Big Island photographers in five categories: nature, portrait, urban, abstract and black and white. The opening reception is at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 5.
The juror for the Big Island Photo Expo is Laurel Schultz of Holualoa and Seattle. She has taught photography at the University of Washington, the Photographic Center Northwest and more recently, at the Donkey Mill Art Center in Holualoa. Laurel explores the natural world as a lens on human nature.
